The Simple Woman’s Daybook ~ May 10th

Welcome to my new friends.  I love that you are here!  I hope to have time to visit everyone before long.

Outside my window...  it just stopped raining, so it is still cloudy.  The air smells so clean.  I love it.

I am thinking...  ~ that good things can come in BIG packages, too.

I am thankful for...  ~ my family

I am wearing...  ~ old, wet clothes.  I was cleaning out the freezer that is in the shop when the rain started.  On the way back to the house, honey hunk wanted to know if I wanted him to bring me a bar of soap.

I am remembering...  ~ happy times

I am praying … ~ a couple of special friends

I am going...  ~ to love school being out!

I am currently reading...  ~ I haven’t been reading much the last few days, except online.

I am hoping...  ~ for a productive summer

Noticing that...   ~ I seemed to have gotten sidetracked on my cleaning….again.

Pondering these words… “Live simply, that others might simply live.”

From the kitchen...  ~ blackberry  jelly

Around the house...  ~ it looks like we have been blessed a bit too much.

One of my favorite things… ~ a hot cup of coffee and visiting with honey-hunk.

From the Learning Room… ~ We made soap!  And the boys are learning Auto CAD  (without much help from me)

A picture to share… ~

Quote of the Week… ~

“Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.”  Laurie

Be sure and visit The Simple Woman’s Daybook for more daybook entries.

May your spring be filled with the gift of new life, sweet smells and sunny days.

May God be gracious to you and bless you; may He make His countenance shine upon you forever; that Your way be known on earth, Your salvation among all nations.

Blessings,
Cheryl

  1. I need your mailing address, Miss Cheryl for you have won the Unplanned DVD! :) I don't think the rain has arrived in Tulsa yet but it looks imminent! There will probably be a downpour just as I am running from my office to the parking lot! :)
