Summer Thoughts From A to Z

Photobucket

“Summer Thoughts” is brought to you by Katharine.  Just click on the button and you can read all about it.  We are blogging through the Alphabet during the first 26 days of July.

I am attempting to line up twenty-six Bible verses (A ~ Z) and also write about one thing I love about summer, that also starts with the same letter of the alphabet.  I admit it’s a little strange, but a great challenge!  (Besides, I take a little poetic leeway.)

~ E ~

“Even a child is known by his doings, whether his work be pure, and whether it be right.”
Proverbs 20:11

Nope, I don't have an elephant up my sleeve or in the back pasture either!

But the Oklahoma City Zoo has a new baby Asian elephant (she was born mid April).  Her birth weight was 300 lbs.  How would you like carrying that around for a few months? LOL

In the two pictures below, look at the cute fuzzy flat top they are born with.  Adorable!

Summer is a great time to take a trip to the zoo!

Blessings,
Cheryl

  2. HI Cheryl,

Oh my...that baby elephant is adorable with that little furry head. No, I would NOT like to be carrying around 300 pounds worth of baby..no way...That's why God made elephants so big :) :) Love the Scripture, too :) :) Love and hugs from Oregon, Heather :)
