Summer Thoughts From A to Z”

Photobucket

“Summer Thoughts” is brought to you by Katharine.  Just click on the button and you can read all about it.  We are blogging through the Alphabet during the first 26 days of July.

~ L ~

”Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.”
 1 Corinthians 13:4 (NIV)

Ten things I love about summer:

The smell of honeysuckle and
the smell of fresh mowed hay
Ice cold watermelon
Sitting in the garden (normally, not so much during this heatwave)
The night sky
Going barefoot
Peaches, blackberries and cantaloupe.
Fresh sliced tomatoes out of the garden
Snowcones
More daylight
Tomorrow will be the seventh week for "Building Our Homes Together"!  Lots of good things happening!  Be sure to come for a visit or write your own post and link up.  You can find the details at Prairie Flower Farm!

Blessings,
Cheryl

  1. All of those things except for the honeysuckle (don't have any) and the snowcones (don't like 'em) just scream summer. And I am with you...this heat is squashing my enjoyment of the summer garden. Have a blessed Tuesday! :)

Pina Colada snow cones are pretty good!!! LOL

Katharine....I know, that front porch is calling my name!

Heather, can't wait to see what you been making!!! Still love the flag mats you were working on last week. Be sure and let me know how you dad is doing before Friday. It was good to hear he is doing better. Praying his health continues to improve.
