Happy Thursday, Everyone!

“And he said unto them, This kind can come forth by nothing, but by prayer and fasting.”

~ Mark 9:29 ~

Good morning, my friends!  And a big welcome to you new followers.  So glad you are here!

Oklahoma is already hot extremely warm today….we don’t seem to have the breeze that we’ve had the last couple of days.  The humidity is also high.  The actual temperature is 88 and it is a few minutes after ten o’clock a.m.  Praying it stays below 100.

This is going to be a quick note, to let you know I will be joining Angela at Free Spirit Haven tomorrow.  On Fridays, she hosts Fearless Friday, praying for the needs of others.

I will also be fasting tomorrow with another group of prayer warring ladies.

So if you have a prayer request or need and would like me to pray with you/for you, leave me a comment or send me an email.

I’ll include my email below my signature.

May each of you have a blessed day in the Lord!

Shalom,

  1. My goodness gracious Cherly, I don't know if you realize this but four years ago the Lord gave me this scripture during Lent (I'm Catholic....and the first time I practiced 'giving up or doing' for 40 days during Lent)...I had struggled with gluttony for most of my life and the effects of that bondage had me spiral up to 260 lbs. Four years ago I sacrificed two meals a day, fasting for 40 days and eating one meal. A year later (and me still eating this way) I found out there is a name for it, Intermittent Fasting. Of course mine is more on a spiritual basis than just to lose weight.

10 years ago in my devotional book from My Upmost for His Highest, on October 3rd, this scripture was there. Beside it in pen I wrote..'the only way to be completely set free from the spirit of gluttony'. 8 years later, I began the journey of fasting and praying to be set free completely from this stronghold...

Thank you SO much precious sister not only for the shout out, but to join me this Fearless Friday. Totally God's doing..I was going to call it Faithful Friday..lol. Praise God for His leading ...
They do not fear bad news; they confidently trust the Lord to care for them. They are confident and fearless and can face their foes triumphantly.” ~ Psalm 112:7-8 NLT
