Precious Information for YOU!

I would like to share some amazing information with you!  This is not new information to me, but because I loaned out the booklets that this information was originally contained in, I have not had the information close at hand until recently.

As many of you know, I love studying the Hebraic roots of the Bible.  For me, it makes the complete Bible come alive and when I am able to “connect the dots” and really get it, I become so excited it is difficult to contain myself.  Of course, then I think – Everyone should know this!

What is really exciting to me personally about the following information, is not just the information itself, tremendous as it is, but this is the “nugget” that started my own “need to know” – my own hunger and thirst after the Truth.

If you are a parent or a grandparent, this will warm your heart even more!

The following information was taken from a study written by J.R. Church in 2006.  But as you will see, it originally was publish in a booklet about The Seven Feasts by Zola Levitt (which I came into contact with in the mid 80”s).

Zola Levitt discovered an amazing correlation between the Biblical Feasts Days and the gestation (time period) of a human baby, from conception to birth.  While preparing for writing a book for new parents, Zola contacted a gynecologist for some help in understanding gestation.  During the session, the gynecologist showed him a series of pictures and pointing to the first one (an egg and sperm) she said, “On the fourteenth day of the first month, the egg appears.”  The statement struck a chord in Zola’s Jewish mind because the fourteenth day of the first month is the date of Passover.  And he remembered the roasted egg on his family’s table every Passover.  Now, for the first time, he knew what it meant!  Not wanting to lead the gynecologist off from the subject at hand, he said nothing, but continued to listen.

The gynecologist continued:  “The egg must be fertilized within 24 hours, or it will pass on.”  This reminded Zola of the Feast of Unleavened Bread and the seed or grain that “fell into the ground and died: in order to produce a harvest, the first-fruits of which was presented to God.  Next, the gynecologist said, “Within two to six days, the fertilized egg attaches itself to the wall of the womb and begins to grow.”  And sure enough, the Jewish evangelist thought, “The Feast of First-Fruits is observed anywhere from two to six days after Passover!”

Next, he was shown a photo of an embryo showing arms, hands, fingers, legs, feet, toes, a head, eyes, etc.  The caption said, “Fifty days.”  The gynecologist continued, “Around the fiftieth day, the embryo takes on the form of a human being.  Until then, we don’t know if we have a duck or a tadpole.”  Zola thought, “That’s Pentecost!”  (Pentecost comes fifty days after Passover and is also known as the Feast of Weeks or Shavout (Shavout meaning weeks, this Biblical Feast Day marks the giving of the Torah (the Law or the Ten Commandments) in the Old Testament and the day the Holy Spirit came in the New Testament.)

So, now we have the development of this little baby, lining up exactly with what we know are the spring feasts of the Bible.  But would the embryo continue to line up with the fall feasts?

The next picture showed the embryo at seven months.  The gynecologist said, “On the first day of the seventh month, the baby’s hearing is developed.  For the first time, it can hear and distinguish sounds outside the womb.”  Zola knew that was the date for the Festival of Trumpets.  (I love that “hearing” and “Trumpets” go together here!)

The gynecologist continued, “On the tenth day of the seventh month, the hemoglobin of the blood changes from that of the mother, to a self-sustaining baby.”  Zola thought, “That is the Day of Atonement, when the blood was taken into the Holy of Holies!”

Next, the gynecologist said, “On the fifteenth day of the seventh month, the lungs become fully developed.  If born before then, the baby would have a difficult time breathing.”  And Zola thought, “That’s the Feast of Tabernacles, a time of celebrating the Temple, home of the Shekinah glory of Spirit of God.”  In the New Testament, the Greek term pneuma, is normally translated as “breath,” as applied to the Holy Spirit.”  (We also see the Feast of Tabernacles as that time when Jesus/Yeshua will return to make HIS home among His people.)

Birth takes place on the tenth day of the ninth month.  Eight days after birth, in Jewish families, a son is circumcised.  Zola noted that the eight days of Hanukkah are celebrated right on schedule, nine months and ten days after Passover.

No human being could have understood the gestation period 3,500 years ago.  The establishment of the Jewish (Biblical) Holy Days was given to Moses by Jehovah God, Himself.  Its correlation with the human gestation period is not only remarkable; it proves “Intelligent Design.”  It proves the existence of an Intelligence beyond this world.  It proves that there is a Creator God that guides the affairs of man.

What this means to me, is that from conception to birth each person ever borne or ever to be born has kept the Biblical Feasts of the Lord that were given to Moses, while still in the womb!  (How precious is each life to God!)  It means, my Heavenly Father is so into details, more than we can even fathom; which in turn means, He loves His creation more than we can imagine.

“Many, O LORD my God, are thy wonderful works which thou hast done, and thy thoughts which are to us-ward: they cannot be reckoned up in order unto thee: if I would declare and speak of them, they are more than can be numbered.” Psalm 40:5

“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.”  Jeremiah 29:11

If you have any questions concerning the Biblical Feasts, I will try to help ….although there are many sites out there that can explain the Feasts much better than I can.

You might notice, the first four feasts that have been fulfilled ~

Passover
Unleavened Bread
First Fruits

Pentecost (Shavout, Feast of Weeks) which begins today, 6/7/11, at sundown.  You can find out how to celebrate Shavout here.

Trumpets
Day of Atonement
Tabernacles

(Then we have the social feast ~ Hanukkah, that also fits into this beautiful pattern arranged by Abba….Our Father! )

Note:  Governor Rick Perry of Texas has invited the other 49 governors to join him August 6th in a Day of Prayer for our country.  This means we have the opportunity to pray during the next two months and petition God to direct the paths of these men and women of leadership, may their hearts be pure before HIM and may HE lead them, as they lead our country.

May you be blessed in all that you do, you are loved beyond even what you can imagine!
