Wednesday ~ Building Our Homes Together

with Jesus!

Ladies, this is an added note.  It is Wednesday morning, a little after 9.  Linda has not put up a post.  Yesterday, she was still ill.  She and her sweet husband both had a "bug" that had started sometime Monday.  Please pray with me, that they would be made well in the Name of Jesus/Yeshua the Messiah.
Because I know Oklahoma had storms last night, there is also a chance, Linda's internet and/or power may be down.  I am not sure how far north the storms were.  What I am sure of, is the enemy is doing all he can to upset what God is doing here on our "Building Our Homes Together".  We have been talking about how God is getting ready to move in our midst in a tremendous way, as we prepare our homes and our hearts for HIM.
The enemy doesn't like that and he will do all he can to stop the amazing movement of GOD.  Don't let him.  If he is attacking you and your home, stand firm with us and bind the enemy!

"And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven."  Matthew 16:19
Bind satan from every area of your life and loose the power and the glory of the Holy Spirit that Abba's (your Heavenly Father's) will for you and your home will be accomplished!
Keep lifting one another in prayer and especially lift Linda and her family during this time.  Satan has already been defeated at the cross....we just need to STAND and STAND Together.
May His will be accomplished in each of our lives for His glory!
~Cheryl
P.S.  I  just went by and prayed in the comment section of Linda's Tuesday post.  If you see this and have a minute, please go by and stand in agreement.  ~ Thanks!

Building Our Homes Together is an idea put together by Linda at Prairie Flower Farm.  Be sure and go by and visit with Linda and find all the neat information.  Linda also has a giveaway going on!   And it is NICE!

Building Our Homes Together
(with Jesus)

Good morning ladies,
How has your week been?

You want the good news first or the not so good? LOL

Okay, you’re right.  Let’s save the good news, so we can enjoy
(rather, than waiting for the other shoe to drop).

In the last week and half ~ the washer has quit, along with the vacuum cleaner, the van, the a/c and the oven was already out.

The enemy hates it when a plan comes together!

We have a washer coming (it isn’t going to cost us anything, except a little time).

My honey-hunk was able to get both the vacuum and the a/c going.
(that's the reason you pick a MacGyver type to marry, girls -LOL)

We are using one of those cabinet top roasters for our oven and debating on what we want or can do about a new stove.

The van needs a new radiator and that will take a few days.

Setbacks, yes…..overcome, NO!

Around the house, I managed to put a few packages of both blueberries and strawberries in the freezer.

I did get the corners of two rooms under control.

Worked on organizing some of our papers
and was able to toss nearly a feed sack full in the trash!

Cleaned two more drawers and (believe it or not) I can still see the kitchen table!  Yea!

Spiritually speaking….God is moving!

Friday’s fasting and Fearless Friday prayer “session” was nothing short of awesome!  (And we get to do it again this Friday!  Please join us.)  I have tired to go back and update the list.  You can see it here.

The Parsha study for this past Shabbat (Sabbath) was something I needed, something I had never seen before.  Don’t you love it when God shows you something totally new in the same scriptures you have read over & over?!  Sometime later, I am going to share what I learned.
If you would like to learn more, leave me a comment.

Our Sunday’s ministry ~ God moved!  One of our guests came back to visit with us on Monday evening.  The Holy Spirit is dealing with hearts.  You can find out more here.

Through a dream, Abba has shown me I need to forgive a former family member….I really didn’t realize I was holding a “grudge" against her, because what I feel towards this person is indifference.  However, now I will work through my feelings and I am forgiving this person by faith.
I’ll leave you with the scripture I am living by this week:

“So shall they fear the name of the LORD from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun.
When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him”

Isaiah 59:19

Remember, believe the good report *the Word of God*!

May the coming week be filled with the goodness of the Lord!

Blessings,
Cheryl

  1. May the coming week be filled with the goodness of the Lord!..amen amen amen

I sit here trying to think of where to start...what to share.

How about:...the bigger the attacks, the bigger the blessings. I'm getting my eyes off the attacks and keeping them on Jesus, the One that blesses. The One that Deliverers.

We had a similar week as you. I remember during one of the MANY incidents we were facing, my flesh was starting to act up, trying to fear....

My spiritual faith muscles rose up strong though. 'You've been down this road before Angela. God delivered You. You have fought this battle before Angela and won. Do NOT fear. Do NOT be discouraged. Start praising and thanking God for His faithfulness over your lives.'

So that is what I did. I also kept my mouth shut MANY times during EXTREMELY stressful times in our home. I prayed through it. I prayed blessing over my household as my husband and my son worked on the car that had completely broke down. While the other car that was in the driveway had broken down a week before.

I did laundry. I did LOTS of laundry. I cleaned the kitchen. The Holy Spirit brought to my attention about how I was able to go about my day with a joy filled heart now instead of being stuck under the covers in my room and eating and eating and eating to shove down the fear, worry and anxiety I was facing over the attacks that had come our way...Your right Cheryl, God IS moving....God's Word DOES not return to Him void...What He has said about us and for us, He IS accomplishing....

I also remember the Holy Spirit speaking to my heart..'believe, believe..Angela you DO believe. You DO believe that God is moving and that He will NOT leave your family nor forsake you'..I kept repeating God's Word..'I shall never leave you nor forsake you..'So with confidence I say, the Lord is my help and my deliverance, what can man(trials, tribulations, storms, the enemy, demons)do to me!!Greater is He that is in me, than he (all these attacks, the trials, the world, the sin) that is in this world..Glory to God!!!!!

  2. Awwww, Angela, thank you for taking the time to come and put me in remembrance of what God can and will do!

I do tend to get discouraged in the natural, until I look around and realize how unrealistic it is for everything to break down at once....that means the enemy is attacking....which means GOD is doing good things and the enemy (like a spoiled child)is jumping up and down in the corner....saying, No...look over here....look at all that is going wrong...don't look to HIM....

Once I realize it is a spiritual battle (and aren't most battles?) things begin to fall into perspective and I can focus on Abba and ignore the circumstances that the devil is using to drag my attention away from the Father.

And you are so right about the "eating"....I think I just ate an entire sleeve of Townhouse crackers....blah, blah and didn't even realize it! spit, spit. I am going to have to commit this eating to prayer....REALLY!

    Love you, Sis!

  7. Hey sweet pea, sorry I didn't write before I had to leave to go to the chiropractor today. Had chores to do and gather craft handwork to take with. I can't just sit in the car. It is always so nice and quiet and I can work with my hands.

Love your post here. The prayer for our family was so precious and when all Angela and Terry chimed in. How precious you all are. I am so blessed to call you all my sweet friends. YOU ARE ALL THE BEST.

When I read Sunday's ministry my heart leaped for joy. God is so good.

Oh I went to the chiropractor and got an adjustment. Wonderful! I had been out in my neck, thought I had to use the post hole digger last Saturday. Heehee

    Hugs sweet friend, Linda

  8. I love you, Cheryl! Thank you for being such a blessing in my life! Maybe Bert and I can come down (across, over, whichever direction you live from Tulsa) some weekend this summer if there is an inexpensive (but clean) motel somewhere near your home. It would be wonderful to spend a whole weekend enjoying each others company!
