Fasting and Fearless Friday, 7/1

Welcome to Fearless Fridays!

Be sure and visit Angela's blog *which is where Fearless Fridays originated* and stand in agreement with the prayers listed there.

You will need to visit her comment section.

There is a spiritual battle going on.  Are you ready for war?

They do not fear bad news; they confidently trust the Lord to care for them. They are confident and fearless and
can face their foes triumphantly.”
~ Psalm 112:7-8 NLT

(Our contact information is at the top of the sidebar.)

Last week, the Holy Spirit gave me the following verse:

"He brought me to the banqueting house, and his banner over me was LOVE."  Song of Solomon 2:4

HIS banner over us really is LOVE ~ HIS perfect love!  But this is a new week and I have a new scripture!  One of my good friends was taken to the ER with chest pains one evening earlier this week.  When I was praying for Anney (Glenis), the Lord gave me this scripture:

"I will sing unto the LORD, for he hath triumphed gloriously: the horse and his rider hath he thrown into the sea."  Exodus 15:1

(This is the song Moses and Miriam sang when God destroyed Pharaoh and the Egyptian army when they tried to cross the Red Sea.)
Isn’t it awesome, God has thrown our enemies into the sea!  God wants to do great things in your life.

Back to Anney, she was kept overnight and then yesterday they ran tests.  It wasn’t her heart!!!  Alleluia!  So that was another “good report.”  I love it!

Please pray for safe traveling mercies for Angela and her husband.  They are taking a little day trip today.  Don’t worry, she is taking her Bible and her prayer journal and she will be praying for you along the way.

And if you haven’t been following Linda’s blog concerning
Purses with Promise,
please go read the latest.  You will be blessed.  Please keep Sherri and Jim in your prayers as they head out for Joplin this weekend and pray for this ministry to continue to grow!
(Ladies, this is something you can be a part of.  It is so easy!)

Okay, last week we had eleven pages of prayer request, but I also got kind of wordy with the praise reports.  But I love those praise reports!!!

People are beginning to hear there is an army of women, prayer warriors praying here each Friday.  Many are so grateful, because they don't know who to turn to for prayer.
So again thank you for standing in the gap for so many!

Let's get started ~

“But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.”
 Isaiah 53:5

"So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it."
Isaiah 55:11

Father, I am praying for and sending YOUR Word to those listed below.  As it is written, when Your Word goes forth, it does not return void.  Rather in accomplishes that for which it was sent!  Father, I ask that it be so in the lives of the following.  May YOUR tender mercies and healing touch minister to each person listed.

“Then I will give you rain in due season, and the land shall yield her increase, and the trees of the field shall yield their fruit.”

 Leviticus 26:4

Father, we need rain.  Without the rain, we have farms and ranches that will suffer.  YOU are the ONE, who speaks to the wind and the wind ceases to blow.  YOU are the ONE who calms the seas ~ for all creation knows YOUR VOICE. You are mighty at pulling down the devil's handiwork and we rejoice that YOU have thrown the "horse and rider" into the sea!!!  Father, just as YOU sent the rain when Elijah declared, "there is a sound of abundance of rain"  I ask you send it now.  Our grass is dying and our gardens aren't bringing forth the harvest as they should.  Please send us the rain we need.  And we will glorify YOU in all that we do.

Praying for those areas of the country that need rain ~ especially Colorado, Kansas, western Oklahoma, and west Texas.

Praising God for the 2" of rain in south Texas!  Thank YOU, Father!!  West Texas also received some rain!!!

“Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:
Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;
Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;”  ~  Psalm 103:2 - 4

Praying for the people in the areas that are experiencing flooding

Lifting those who’s lives have been changed due to major disasters, not only here in the U.S. but around the world.

Be with those in and around Fort Calhoun, Nebraska.  Spread a blanket of protection over the people there and the farmland.  Also praying for the area around Los Alamos.

"But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea."  Matthew 18:6

Praying for protection for little Mallory.  May God’s angels watch over her continually and may she be kept safe.

Praying for V’s adoption to go forth smoothly and quickly and may any obstacles that remain be removed.  Give V’s new family all that is needed to see this through to completion.
*Update* on V's adoption...there has been a breakthrough and things are beginning to move quickly.  Please pray all the papers and such will be filed correctly and things will go smoothly.

Praying for Samuel who has Celiac Disease.  May he be healed in the name of Jesus.
Father, also be with  Little Ellianna.  Heal her small body and may she and her family be blessed in every way.

“The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way.” ~
Psalm 37:23

Praying for my friend Parsley’s husband as he considers changing jobs ~ may he follow the path that Our Heavenly Father has chosen for him.  Also, their daughter is experiencing terrible headaches.  May she be healed in the Name of Jesus!
Update:  My sister (Bobbie) called and requested prayer for God's will, as she interviewed for a new position within the (same) hospital where she works.  This job would put her back in IT, so she is excited about the possibilities, but wants it to be God's will if it comes through.  Update, on my update:  She is being considered for a position which will come available in August.  Prayers are appreciated.

Father, we come here again praying for families.  I stand on Your Word and bind Satan from the family unit in the Name of Yeshua.  You said, whatever is bound in earth would be bound in Heaven and whatever is loosed in earth would be loosed in Heaven.  Father, please bind the enemy of our homes and loose the power of GRACE and LOVE in families, that their homes might be like sanctuaries where YOUR Shalom resides!

Please pray for a marriage that is in deep trouble.  God know all the details.  This request comes from Lynda and the couple involved is her son and daughter –in-law.

"So shall they fear the name of the LORD from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him"

Isaiah 59:19

Father, I ask that You would be with each of those participating in “Building Our Homes Together With Jesus”.  Father, help us to build our homes, so that when others come, they will feel Your presence.  May we have the energy and the resources needed for keeping our families’ needs met and give us words that would bring encouragement to others.  May YOUR Banner over each of our homes be LOVE!  If there are financial needs, I ask that You would supply those needs according to Your riches in glory.  But most of all, Abba….may we reflect Your light and the message of salvation through your SON.  You and You alone are the giver of all good things!  May we hide YOUR Word in our heart that we might not sin against Thee.

Betty Jo has a request concerning her daughter and family's new home.  Father, please remove the obstacles that are standing in the way of a timely move.  She also has requested prayer for her parents to be able to sell their place.  Father, please send the right buyer.

“But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.” ~ Isaiah 40:31

Special prayers for my friend Anney, who’s m-i-l has dementia and is staying with them.  Father, I ask that you lighten Anney’s burden and renew her strength. Update:  Anney's m-i-l was able to move home, at least for now.  Thank you, for answered prayers!

Father, I lift all those who diligently work as caregivers.  May You reward their sacrifice.
Father, we also continue to lift Anney’s mil to YOU.  May she be content in her circumstances and please keep her safe.
Father, we lift Linda’s step-mother that You might heal her body and give her strength.  We ask that You move in the midst of Phil’s family, that they might come to know YOU.  Father, please heal Linda’s ears and refresh both her and Phil’s bodies.  And Lord, I ask YOU provide a new home for Linda and Phil.

Father, may YOU move in the lives of Bren’s Aunt Bobbi, bringing comfort to her hurting heart and Father, asking YOU clear the way for this move Bren’s son will be making.

Praying special prayers of protection and safety for the men & women in the military and their families.  Father, please be with Jason and Brian along with all those in foreign lands.  May they see YOUR mighty hand at work.

Praying for our country and our leaders - may we repent as a nation and seek Your direction, Father.

“Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee.” ~ Psalms 122:6

Father, I pray for the city You love.  May peace surround Jerusalem, may eyes that are blinded be opened and may those that are captive be set free.  May the people of Israel know the TRUTH and may Your Shalom be their Peace.  We pray for the protection of the Land of the Book!

Father, be with Beth's son, Josiah, as he undertakes another mission assignment for the Glory of Your Kingdom.  May You surround him with angels that will minister to him day and night.  And may Beth be at  peace her heart, knowing Josiah is in YOUR perfect will.
Beth also has an unspoken request. God knows, He hears and HE will move the mountains that need to be moved.

Father, I stand in agreement with the requests on Angela's blog.  May each need, each desire be met.

"We are confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you (us) will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:" (Php. 1:6)

Father, I ask that YOU speak to Stephanie's heart and draw her back to her first LOVE.  May YOU alone rule and reign in her life!  Father, YOUR LOVE toward us is so Amazing!

Also requesting prayer for Terry’s daughter and son-in-law.

Father, there is a church that is need of prayer for direction.  Please show them Your will and Your perfect timing.

Father, I have one unspoken request, but I know YOU know my heart on this.  May it be done according to YOUR will.

Praise YOUR Holy Name, Father.....By faith we see strongholds falling....YOUR WORD is ever TRUE!  We thank YOU for Your Son and it is in His Name, the Name of Yeshua (Jesus) the Messiah we ask and believe all these things.

It is important we believe the good report (God's WORD) and not the lies the world tells us.....it is the same as it was with the spies that were sent into the Promise Land.  We have to hold fast to what God says is the TRUTH.  Never loose sight that  “We are more than conquerors through him that loved us.” ~ Romans 8:37

Ladies, our contact information is on my sidebar in the top right hand corner.  I hope I haven't left anyone out.  It is always an honor to lift your requests to our Heavenly Father!  Abba, loves each of YOU ~ never doubt it!
May your homes be filled with the peace that passes all understanding.
May God's Shalom settle over all your cares and needs like a blanket.  Remember, HE is Jehovah Nissi and HIS Banner over YOU is LOVE!
And
He has already thrown the horse and rider into the sea!

This is a new request...please pray for Felisha Wood.  They have two bulldogs that were fighting and she tried to separate them.  That resulted in her getting attack.  She had to have stitches and stables and has some torn muscle tissue.  Please lift her in prayer.

(Julie, we are mashing those buttons!  God is good!)

Have a very blessed and save Fourth of July celebration!

Blessings,
Cheryl

P.S. ~ I'm sorry, but I have to say this, stress this ~ Ladies, always speak life and love to your home...cover it with that banner of LOVE.
If by chance, I left anyone out, or we need to add someone, just leave me a note in the comments.  I do this each Thursday night after everyone else is asleep ~ I need the "quiet" and the alone time with ABBA!  He is an excellent Papa!

You are always welcome, so drop by anytime!

  2. Good morning, Prayer Warriors....

Every request that comes our way is important, but I am asking you target this one, to save this marriage. Families are under so much pressure today and the attacks of the devil are relentless. So please, stand in the gap and ask the LORD to restore the love this couple once felt for each other. To renew their love, their feelings and their ability to look beyond each other's faults. Thanks! You are the best!

    Hugs,
    Cheryl

  3. Ladies, always speak life and love to your home...cover it with that banner of LOVE.

    AMEN AMEN AMEN...

As we travelled for close to six hours yesterday, the one word that God kept speaking to my heart was ..TRUST...TRUST...TRUST ME!

Over and over it kept going through my head..It wasn't 'do you trust me Angela'..(which I was receiving before) but trust..trust Me.

Trust, believing and faith...all go together..

WE need to trust our Father God, WE need to believe and have faith. He kept bringing up also..'plans to prosper you and not to harm you. Plans for a future and a hope'..No matter what the circumstances are..no matter how your husband, your children, your finances, etc look like, behave like..God IS in control and IS working in their lives and it the circumstances...As Cherly stated, as GOD STATED..His banner over us is LOVE..so we MUST speak always speak life and love to your home....and not only our homes,,but in our thoughts when we are thinking about our husbands, children, circumstances, finances, jobs, etc...love BELIEVES the best..as I trust in God's love, than I must believe the best,,that He has the BEST for us....trust trust trust...Our Father keeps gently speaking that word to my spirit,,,and i keep crying out.."Lord, forgive me for being anxious, worried, stressed..for when I am this way, than I am not trusting You, nor keeping my eyes on You, but my circumstances...Heal us oh Lord and we will be healed. Save us oh Lord and we will be saved, for You are the One we praise. You are the One we adore..amen amen amen
